The purpose of the job is to collect samples and perform routine monitoring and testing of water and wastewater, including effluent samples, flows, and settable solids. The role also involves assisting with general maintenance duties at facilities, such as washing down thickener, digester basin, and walkway; washing down aeration basin wall and walkway; checking and washing down bar screen and strainer; cleaning clarifiers; dumping and cleaning scum basin; operating the belt press; and cleaning the office area and restrooms.
