About The Position

The Water/Wastewater Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of municipal water and wastewater systems, ensuring the smooth flow of services. This role includes performing lab testing and requires specific certifications related to water and wastewater operations. Requirements

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Certified Operator must have either Wisconsin Grade 1 with subclass G and D Water Certification or Wisconsin Wastewater Operator Certification at Basic Level with specific subclasses at time of hire.
• All additional required certifications must be obtained within 36 months of hire date.
• Operator-in-Training must obtain required certifications within specified time frames.

• Two years of experience in municipal water treatment and distribution.
