Water/Wastewater Operator
About The Position
Purpose of the JobThe Operator II performs routine checks of water or wastewater treatment facilities; responsible for compliance with TCEQ rules or NPDES permit. The Operator II will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance and sometimes investigate customer issues. The Operator II must be familiar with industry standard analyses such as chlorine residual, Ph, dissolved oxygen, suspended and total solids, settleability, and hardness. This position must be able to inspect distribution or collections system for leaks and perform routine distribution system flushing.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED in General
- TX - TCEQ Wastewater C
- Driver's License
- Field-Based Role
- 1-2 years related experience.
