About The Position

We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Pampa, Texas. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment and quality control testing. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm This position has a pay rate of $24/hr

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid Drivers License
• Familiarity with hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge and effluent
• Observe variations in operating conditions
• Interpret meter and gauge readings
• Collect samples
• Maintain shift logs
• Perform other duties as required
