This Opportunity: Join a collaborative, close‑knit team working on water and/or wastewater projects both on construction sites and in the office. Support field staff by assisting with on‑site construction observation Assist project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks, while maintaining effective communication with staff, contractors, and clients. Accurately draft project information using AutoCAD and related software.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Ability to travel for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site inspections, and other project needs.
  • Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able and willing to report to the Des Moines, IA office daily
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with basic AutoCAD tasks through coursework or prior employment.
  • Has begun foundational engineering coursework in the major
