STV is seeking a professional Water/Wastewater Engineering Specialist to join our Water/Wastewater division in either NYC or White Plains, NY locations. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in water and wastewater systems.
EIT Certification, required.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to seek technical input from water team members work collaboratively to advance projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus.
Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.
Participation in professional organizations, as well as committee involvement is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform engineering duties in planning and designing of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and storage systems.
Development of contract documents including plans and specifications.
Perform hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
Develop system curves for sizing and selection of pumps.
Water and Wastewater treatment process systems and equipment engineering and design support.
Support the development of construction cost estimates.
Interest and willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
Perform site visits during design to understand and document existing conditions, and inspect installation during construction..
Review contractor shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.
