About The Position
Job Opportunity: Engineer Designer - Water/Wastewater An exciting opportunity is available for an Engineer Designer to join a growing Water/Wastewater team based in Florida. This role is ideal for someone passionate about engineering and looking to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects while continuing to grow professionally. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide technical and design support for water/wastewater projects as part of a collaborative project team. Conduct technical evaluations and analyses. Prepare engineering calculations and assessments. Develop design and construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documentation. Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. Communicate technical findings and contribute to written reports and project correspondence. Stay up to date with local, state, and federal design standards and regulations.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's level).
- Active certification as an Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong technical aptitude paired with excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently while remaining adaptable to shifting project priorities and timelines.
- A valid driver's license, along with a satisfactory driving and criminal background check.
