About The Position

Write technical reports on water/wastewater industry issues. Design civil components for water/wastewater treatment facilities. Present to municipal clients and regional stakeholders. Develop technical skills through expert collaboration, writing articles, and attending conferences. Mentor junior staff via structured mentoring, work assignments, and technical reviews.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
Certification as Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within 18 months of hire.
5 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
Domestic/international travel may be required based on duties and project demands.
Equivalent related experience considered in lieu of a degree; at least 5 years in civil engineering design.
Experience presenting technical concepts to municipal clients through reports and presentations.
Basic understanding of the design process from conceptual design to construction phase engineering.
Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) practices.
Knowledge of engineering principles for municipal bidding design documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
