About The Position

The position involves supporting operational staff at American Water by preparing and maintaining various files, records, and reports related to engineering and construction projects. The role includes assisting in the preparation and review of technical reports, cost estimates, and budgets, as well as performing data analysis in information systems. Requirements

• Enrollment in an Engineering, Environmental, Science, or Business undergraduate degree program or a relevant program from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of completed coursework.
• Valid Driver's License required at time of hire and ability to pass motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Support operational staff by preparing and maintaining files, records, drawings, reports, maps, charts, budgets, and other data related to engineering and construction projects.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical reports, cost estimates, and budgets.
• Enter data and perform analysis in information systems.
• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports on regulatory requirements, budgets, capital expenditures, and departmental performance.
• Collaborate with professionals to provide administrative, analytical, and technical support for daily operations.
