Water Truck Driver with CDL - Laredo, TX
About The Position
KOMAN Construction LLC, is looking for a Water Truck Driver with a CDL for our vegetation contract in Laredo, TX. The Water Truck Driver will be responsible for filling, transporting, and applying water for compaction and dust control. Additional duties include loading and unloading water at local facilities, conducting pre-trip inspections, and ensuring that all equipment is in safe working condition before operation. Why Join Us? Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker and Airbrake endorsement.
- Ability to drive manual transmission with no restrictions on CDL.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a drug test - KC is a drug-free environment.
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
- 3 years' experience operating a Water Truck within the road construction industry is required.
- The Driver/Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Drives truck to transport water for construction projects and to apply water for compaction and/or dust control on the construction site.
- Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle before operation.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of vehicle to remain in proper and safe working order.
- Responsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repaired.
- Use jetting pipe for consolidated of material in trenches and other excavations.
- Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts.
