The potential candidate must have at least 2 years of experience driving a Water Truck with a Class A CDL AND Tanker Endorsement.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of Water Truck Driving Experience
  • Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL License and a tanker endoresement
  • Must have a clean criminal and MVR background
  • Must pass a DOT Physical and drug screen
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Physical ability to walk on uneven terrain

Responsibilities

  • The CDL driver will operate a water truck, flatbed, or other vehicles assigned.
  • This position may perform other duties on the crew as needed, such as shoveling, installing erosion control, checking grade, carrying materials, and driving posts.
  • This position may also be operating small tools, such as tamps and jumping jacks, rollers, broom tractors, and any other as directed by the foreman.
  • The driver is responsible for pre and post-checks, daily maintenance, and keeping the truck clean and ready for daily operation.
  • The driver is required to observe, check, and assist in loading or unloading the truck.
  • Maintain operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Complete written reports of problems or necessary repairs and forward them to maintenance personnel. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
