About The Position

Water Truck Driver/Bobtail Driver | In this role you will… Be responsible for operating water trucks and/or Bobtail to support construction site operations. The water truck role ensures proper dust control, soil compaction, and safe equipment handling while maintaining productivity and safety standards on job sites. The Bobtail role ensures material is imported/exported in a proper manner. Follows all safety and DOT laws.

Requirements

High School/GED
Class B or A CDL
DOT Health Card
Clean driving record
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience
Experience operating water trucks or heavy construction equipment
Knowledge of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations
Good communication skills
Problem Solving
Flexible to help where needed

Responsibilities

Operate water trucks for dust control and soil stabilization.
Fill, transport, and distribute water as directed for grading and compaction activities.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Maintain equipment in good working condition and report mechanical issues promptly.
Follow all site safety policies, traffic control procedures, and environmental regulations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, site crews, and project managers.
Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and documentation as required.
Ensure proper water application to prevent runoff, erosion, or unsafe job site conditions.
