About The Position

The Lead Project Engineer for Drinking Water Treatment will oversee and manage various projects related to drinking water treatment facilities. This role involves leading design and permitting processes, engaging with clients and regulatory agencies, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure innovative and effective project outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management focused on drinking water facilities, with a proven track record in greenfield projects and upgrades.
• Ability to navigate active construction sites safely and effectively, ensuring smooth operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a PE License in Georgia (or ability to obtain it quickly).

Responsibilities

• Lead the charge on drinking water treatment projects, ensuring top-notch design and permitting.
• Engage with clients and regulatory agencies, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Mentor and inspire junior staff, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth.
• Collaborate with in-house experts across disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical, and more) to create cohesive, innovative designs.
• Occasionally travel for local and regional project oversight.
