We are seeking a motivated and licensed Water Treatment Operator to join our team and support the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities across the Greater Baltimore Area. This on-site role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of water treatment systems, with occasional office-based work. Requirements

• Practical understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Familiarity with chemistry, biology, and environmental science principles.
• Experience in water sample collection is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) certification as a Water Treatment Plant Operator is highly desirable (not mandatory, based on experience).
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred (not mandatory, based on experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of water treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct chemical dosing, process control, and routine maintenance to optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collect and analyze water samples to monitor system effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the team to address plant staffing and operational needs.
