About The Position

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking a 1st Shift General Laborer/Water Spider.
Reports to: General Labor Supervisor
Cooperates with: Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and Quality
Location: Prior Lake, MN
Shift: 1st Shift, Mon - Fri 6AM - 2:30PM
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping
Prepping of material for production teams within facility
Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages
Stage materials according to production schedules
Keep aisles organized and free of hazards
Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
Clean and Grind silencers.
Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials
Cut and Prep insulation and screening for fabrication
Assist the welders with installation of welding materials
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices
