About The Position
L.K. Jordan & Associates is seeking a motivated and dependable Water Service Technician who is eager to grow professionally. No prior plumbing experience is required — we provide hands-on training to install and service water softeners and related water treatment products. If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Basic plumbing and/or electrical knowledge
- Mechanical skills and comfort using hand tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Replace parts and perform repairs
- Install and relocate water treatment equipment
- Remove salt bridges and maintain system performance
- Respond to emergency service calls (leaks, pressure issues, etc.)
- Perform regular system tune-ups and preventative maintenance
- Monitor changing water conditions
- Inspect water flow and system functionality
- Reset timers, sensors, and regeneration frequency settings
