Summary of Position: The Water Resources Technician is responsible for the technical implementation and management of Santo Domingo Pueblo water resources. This position supports the management of grants and contracts by researching and gathering field data, conducting monitoring activities and grant reporting under the supervision of the Water Resources Division Manager. The Technician plays a primary role in field work, coordinating the operation and maintenance of irrigation facilities, assisting with infrastructure projects and collaborating directly with farmers and ranchers on water access, water issues, ownership, and infrastructure management. Additionally, this role supports education and outreach initiatives to inform the community about water resources management initiatives and activities.
