Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of previous water resources or engineering experience.
  • EI certification a plus (at minimum-FE exam should be scheduled).
  • Knowledge of Open Roads and/or MicroStation / GEOPAK Drainage a plus.
  • Previous hydraulic and storm drainage design related work experience a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment preferred.
  • P.E. License.

Responsibilities

  • Design and complete assigned projects on time, within budget and of high quality.
  • Perform design of hydraulic projects on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work alone and in small groups.
  • Assist in field surveys for hydraulic projects.
  • Lead and mentor junior Water Resources staff.
  • Responsible for QA/QC process.
  • Compile scope and fee for projects.
  • Monitor project finances bi-weekly.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain and manage excellent communication with clients.
