About The Position

H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm has expanded in Florida and is seeking Engineers with experience designing Water Resources, Stormwater, and / or Wastewater systems to be a part of this exciting venture and join our growing team. Job Responsibilities This position will have exposure to a variety of projects covering the full project life cycle from feasibility studies through design to construction and O&M, including: Drinking Water: source of supply, treatment, storage, and distribution projects Wastewater: collection, conveyance, and treatment processes, during schematic design, detailed design and design services during construction phases of projects. Civil / Site: site layout and design, including site grading and storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control. Engineers who join our team will be expected to: Uphold the highest commitment to technical excellence, performing details engineering calculations & analysis Lead development of construction documents (plans and specification) Meet established budget and delivery schedules Coordinate execution projects with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm. Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public bid. Build internal and external client relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
  • 5-7 years of related consulting and design experience.
  • Strong client relations and technical writing skills
  • Ability to mentor and supervise junior level staff.

  • PE highly desired
