We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineering professional to join our Water Resources team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on wastewater, drinking water and/or stormwater projects. Project management experience would be a plus for this role. Candidates with a higher level of experience are welcome to apply. In this position, the candidate will: Work as a project engineer and/or project manager with responsibility for wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects. May supervise work groups which include engineers and/or technicians. Ensure project designs are in conformance with the latest design specifications. Perform design quantity computations and checks. Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for projects. Provide mentorship to junior level staff. Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department. Read and interpret schematic and construction plans. Apply a variety of specification regulations, policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal, State, and local rules and regulations. Review operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures. Complete other duties as needed.
