Typical projects involve hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality in order to assist federal, state and local clients. Requirements

  • B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
  • 5-10 years’ water resources-related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
  • Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office software.

Nice To Haves

  • Progressive experience conducting business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects.
  • Dam Safety and design experience.
  • Knowledge and Experience with USACE Civil Works projects.
  • P.E. certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analysis.
  • Develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities.
  • Write specifications and construction documents.
  • Conduct business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects.
  • Assist in projects involving Stormwater Pump Stations, flood control channels, and tide gates.
