About The Position

As a Water Resources Engineer, you’ll plan and deliver projects that restore natural systems, reduce risk, and strengthen community resilience. What You’ll Do Lead and contribute to stormwater management, floodplain, and watershed projects from concept through construction. Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models using tools like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HydroCAD. Partner with planners, environmental scientists, and GIS professionals to deliver integrated solutions. Prepare reports, analyses, and permitting documentation with accuracy and insight. Mentor junior staff and review work for quality and completeness. Engage directly with clients and agencies, supporting project delivery and funding pursuits. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in water resources, stormwater, or floodplain management. Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and ArcGIS; familiarity with Civil 3D preferred. PE license or active pursuit of licensure. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills. Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in water resources, stormwater, or floodplain management.
