Water Resources Engineer/Designer
About The Position
Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer/Designer to serve our government, industrial, and commercial clients from out of Virginia. You will participate in the review and implementation of various water resources and environmental engineering projects. You will work under limited supervision of senior engineers, and as a team member of project managers, water resource engineers, GIS analysts and environmental scientists. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and experience in Water Resources/Environmental engineering/designing including: Water Resources engineering and design Project management of ecosystem restoration design/build projects (all phases) In-River restoration expertise Whitewater kayaking expertise This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice. Requirements
- Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
- Design and construction oversight
- Excellent writing skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel
- B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Environmental/Water Resources Engineering Design
