About The Position

In the role of Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects. Examples include: watershed assessments, water supply long-term planning, and floodplain analysis, high-level water resources studies. You will be involved in field and desktop data collection, hydrologic analysis and model development, one- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development, preparing engineering design calculations, providing environmental permitting support, developing technical reports, and creating visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations. Additionally, you will perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of tasks.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
  • Basic knowledge of industry standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully.
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
