About The Position
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 to join our team in Austin, TX. Your role Learn from professional engineers standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out sequence of somewhat diversified tasks requiring the use of analysis, interpretation, and deductive reasoning. Assist with projects ranging from flood studies and floodplain modeling and mapping to drainage improvements such as storm drain design and evaluation of structure crossings and water quality studies. Provide administrative and operations support. Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
Requirements
- High school level courses in math, technical drafting, computer assisted drafting and/or science may be required.
- No experience is generally required with the applicable high school courses or equivalent training, or if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
- Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred).
