The Water Resource Monitoring Technician will primarily assist with water quality and contaminant monitoring, assessments and science services, and could potentially provide secondary support to other water related projects at Trout Lake Station or with partners at the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal Natural Resources. Primary responsibilities will include a combination of field and laboratory work that will promote water health. Schedule varies based on field conditions. Expect 35–40 hours per week during the summer, typically Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If work continues past summer, hours will be reduced to under 30 per week, generally Monday through Friday.
