About The Position

The Water Reclamation Operator is responsible for maintaining the operations of the water reclamation plant and collection system in Kerrville, TX. This role involves monitoring daily readings, performing repairs and maintenance on various equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Class D Wastewater Treatment license or obtain within one year of employment.
• One year experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant operations by monitoring daily readings and gathering samples.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and make necessary repairs.
• Operate the hydro-jet in collection lines and repair collection lines.
• Install manhole covers and add chemicals for grease dispersion and root control.
• Operate the belt press for sludge dewatering and perform maintenance on the press.
• Assist in general maintenance duties at lift stations.
• Televising collection lines for repairs as needed.
• Perform grounds keeping duties such as mowing and weed eating.
