About The Position
This position involves working in the field of Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment and environmental sampling. The role requires the operation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of sampling devices, as well as the collection of wastewater samples in accordance with EPA and DEQ approved methods. The individual will be responsible for maintaining sampling records, reviewing laboratory reports, and entering data into a database to track compliance progress. Additionally, the position includes inspecting food service establishments for compliance, preparing inspection reports, and enforcing local sewer ordinances related to FOG pretreatment. The role also involves educating kitchen staff and management on proper disposal practices and conducting industrial inspections and illicit discharge investigations.
