About The Position

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Water Group. This role is involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects. Salary range is $78,000 - $125,000/yr. NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water projects
  • Commensurate experience with local, state, and federal regulatory and funding processes
  • MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Must have Engineer in Training Certification
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD and GIS knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
  • Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
  • Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
  • Master planning, asset management
  • Writing technical reports, memos, communications
  • Working on pilot studies as assigned
  • Travel to sites; field work visits for projects in various phases
