About The Position

This position is responsible for enforcing rules and regulations and ensuring the safety of patrons.

Requirements

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of age.
• This position must have adult CPR certification.
• This position must be able to occasionally move items such as assisting with participant resuce weighing up to 50 lbs.
• This position may be required to do a considerable amount of moving, and rarely stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, and reach.
• This position must be able to be exposed to all extreme summer weather conditions and varying degrees of temperature and light.
• This position will also be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all rules and regulations appropriate to the aquatic facility.
• Report broken equipment to managers.
• Maintain a high level of readiness and be prepared to assist with an emergency.
• Knowledge of functions and operations of all safety, rescue, and first aid equipment.
• Responsible for safety of patrons on the deck and sand areas.
• Must be able to assist patrons on slides and control, communication with Bridge.
• Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
• Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Proactively support the V.A.L.U.E.S. (integrity, fun, commitment, adaptability and growth, kindness, and service) on a daily basis.
• Maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
