About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in water treatment or a related field.
• Class A Water Operator's Certificate (Missouri Department of Natural Resources).
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in reading gauges, flow meters, and operating mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, water treatment regulations, and SCADA systems.
• Skilled in organizing tasks, maintaining records, and communicating effectively.
• Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment systems, adjusting water flow and maintaining tower and reservoir levels.
• Test water samples and ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Train and guide other operators to ensure a seamless shift transition.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality, system performance, and treatment adjustments.
• Clean and maintain facilities and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
