About The Position

The Water Laboratory Technician is responsible for providing support for Miura’s Sales, Maintenance, and Support teams by analyzing water samples and supporting the water sampling-related activities within the company; for providing support to Miura’s Production teams by analyzing chemical quality and production of chemical; for maintaining the lab’s operation and accuracy with analysis of water samples.

Requirements

• Must understand and be able to apply the principles of the MIURA “MOTTO,” “MISSION and VISION,” “MIURA WAY” and “CSLP – Complete Solutions & Lifecycle Partnerships” to their everyday work activities where applicable, and always put safety first.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment which is separated from other employees.
• Ability to properly and safely handle and dispose of hazardous waste.
• Ability to perform tasks repetitively and follow procedure thoroughly.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with laboratory environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with laboratory equipment calibration is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of chemicals and their dangers is preferred but not required.
