About The Position

The Water Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a key technical contributor on projects involving stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance systems. This role combines advanced engineering expertise with project delivery responsibilities to support municipal and private-sector clients in planning, design, and implementation of integrated water infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • 5+ years of experience in stormwater, water distribution, and wastewater conveyance design.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., SWMM, StormCAD, HEC-RAS) and CAD platforms.
  • Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Essential Professional Licensure/Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and analysis of stormwater systems, water/sewer conveyance networks, and related infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for complex water infrastructure challenges.
  • Support project managers in scope development, budgeting, and schedule management.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and technical evaluations for system performance and capacity planning.
  • Provide quality assurance and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
