Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Water Heater Express Delivery Associate. Job Summary: The Water Heater Express Delivery Associate is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of commercial water heaters to job sites using a company vehicle. This role requires operating a powered stair climber to transport units up or down stairs, set them in place, and remove old units as needed—all within a team environment. Safety is the highest priority, and proper PPE must be worn at all times.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to push/pull substantial weight and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Experience operating PIT equipment preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely under pressure and maintain situational awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial water heaters to job sites using company-provided vehicles.
  • Operate powered stair climber equipment to safely move units up/down stairs and position them as required.
  • Remove old units from job sites, including stair navigation when necessary.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Perform warehouse tasks when not on delivery calls, including replenishments, cycle counts, and operating order selectors and other PIT equipment.
  • Respond to high-pressure situations calmly and safely while meeting customer expectations.
  • Maintain flexibility for on-call and after-hours availability, which may affect scheduled shifts.
