About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water / Fire Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will respond to residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality restoration services while providing excellent customer care during stressful situations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous restoration, construction, or cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Availability for on-call or emergency response (including nights/weekends)
Nice To Haves
- IICRC Certification (Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration)
- OSHA Safety Training
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water and fire damage calls in a timely manner
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture monitoring
- Clean and restore properties affected by fire, smoke, and soot damage
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely and efficiently
- Set up and monitor restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Document job progress, including photos and reports
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and company vehicles
