However, it is subject to close at any time once a qualified pool of applications is obtained. This is classified as VHBE (Variable Hour Benefit Eligible), where the selected candidate will work an average of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will be eligible to elect Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, accrue paid time off, and receive 11 paid holidays. Aurora Water (AW) is growing and recently completed a new state-of-the-art facility that requires building oversight. The position prepares and maintains records, reports on work activities and equipment; performs a variety of repairs and installations (both interior and exterior) which may include, but are not limited to painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, floor repairs, concrete/masonry patching, and minor maintenance on HVAC equipment; operates or uses a variety of tools and equipment related to facilities maintenance and repair; may operate computerized control systems; maintains various records on equipment inventories and maintenance of such items including maintenance frequency, needed supplies/parts/materials; performs additional duties as assigned.
