Water Exercise Instructor
About The Position
The Granite YMCA of Concord is hiring for an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Water Aerobics Instructor. The Instructor is responsible for coaching a wide variety of aquatics exercise classes to a committed and regular population of our members who thoroughly enjoy the movement and socialization these classes bring. Position Specifics: Part time schedule is based on the 7–8-week swim lesson sessions Looking specifically for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings as well as subbing opportunities Pay range $17 - $25hr based on experience
Responsibilities
- Teach Water Exercise classes to a variety of ability groups
- Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area
- Responsible to keep certifications current
- Responsible for setting out and picking up equipment before and after class
- Support the lifeguard team in the event of an emergency
