Consor is a trusted civil engineering firm specializing in water resources, transportation, and infrastructure solutions . Our Draper office works on projects that improve communities through sustainable water systems and resilient infrastructure. We are seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our team in Draper, UT. This role offers hands-on experience in water resources engineering , including planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and hydraulic structures . You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world projects that make a difference.

  • Assist in design and analysis of water infrastructure , including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
  • Support hydraulic modeling for water distribution and stormwater systems
  • Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and design calculations
  • Draft plans and details using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Review and update maps, charts, and as-built drawings
  • Participate in field visits for data collection and construction observation
  • Respond to submittals and RFIs during construction phases
  • Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program
  • Interest in water resources or environmental engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; familiarity with CAD tools preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments
  • Experience or coursework in hydrology, hydraulics, or water/wastewater systems
  • Knowledge of EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, or similar modeling software
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
