Consor is a trusted civil engineering firm specializing in water resources, transportation, and infrastructure solutions. Our Draper office works on projects that improve communities through sustainable water systems and resilient infrastructure. We are seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our team in Draper, UT. This role offers hands-on experience in water resources engineering, including planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and hydraulic structures. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world projects that make a difference.

  • Assist in design and analysis of water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Support hydraulic modeling for water distribution and stormwater systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and design calculations.
  • Draft plans and details using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Review and update maps, charts, and as-built drawings.
  • Participate in field visits for data collection and construction observation.
  • Respond to submittals and RFIs during construction phases.
  • Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
  • Interest in water resources or environmental engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments.
  • Experience or coursework in hydrology, hydraulics, or water/wastewater systems.
  • Knowledge of EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, or similar modeling software.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
