General Description:The City of Jacksonville is seeking a water lines and wastewater lines professional to work in the Utilities Maintenance Division. As a Lines Maintenance Worker with this position you will primarily be working on the underground water and sewer line leak repair crews. This will consist of the use of shovels, tamps, power tools etc. Lines Maintenance Workers perform responsible semiskilled manual work in a variety of construction, repair and maintenance assignments involving the use of specialized tools and small equipment; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision. The salary posted is the full salary range for this position. The starting hourly rate is expected to be in the range of$16.27- $21.16 per hour depending on qualifications.
