The Water Distribution System Lead oversees the operation, maintenance, and management of a water distribution system to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of potable water. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing system operations in accordance with local and federal standards. The Water Distribution System Lead provides technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the distribution network operates safely and meets quality and performance objectives. The Water Distribution System Lead is a mandatory Key Personnel position responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of the drinking water distribution system at Naval Station Mayport and outlying areas. The Lead oversees staff and ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient distribution of potable water in compliance with Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 62 and all applicable Federal and local standards.
