About The Position

The Water Damage Technician position at Ace Pro Corporation involves responding to emergency situations related to water, fire, and mold damage. The technician will be responsible for mitigation and restoration efforts, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of water mitigation and mold remediation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Clean criminal background.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• IICRC Certification (Cleaning and Restoration Certification).
• Knowledge of XactAnalysis and Xactimate.
• Working knowledge of mobile applications including DASH, email, video, and photo messaging.

Responsibilities

• Emergency response, mitigation and cleanup of properties damaged by fire, water, and mold including content manipulation and/or pack-out & pack-back.
• Perform moisture mapping and selective demolition of affected materials such as sheet rock, carpet, trim, and debris.
• Conduct structural drying, maintain drying logs, set up equipment, and perform water extraction and fire/smoke damage cleanup.
• Exhibit high attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship throughout the mitigation process.
• Self-perform and lead a crew for water damage and fire cleaning tasks.
• Operate efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
