About The Position
As a Water Damage Technician at our Fremont, CA location, you will be an integral part of our emergency response team dedicated to restoring properties affected by water damage. This role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. You will be expected to respond promptly to emergency calls, assess the situation, and implement effective restoration strategies. Your responsibilities will include setting up equipment, performing necessary demolition, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, both in the shop and in the field, ensuring that our trucks and equipment are presentable at all times. In this position, you will interact directly with customers, insurance adjusters, and management, requiring excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. You will need to arrive at job sites on time, perform thorough assessments of new jobs, and execute the necessary cleaning and restoration tasks, including crawling into tight spaces and handling equipment. This role may require long hours, especially during peak emergency situations, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential. We are willing to provide training for the right candidates, but prior experience in water damage restoration or related fields is preferred.
