The position of Water Blast & Vacuum Technician involves working in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks using specialized equipment.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in industrial cleaning desired but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license; may be required to possess a CDL license depending on local, state, and site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Vacuum waste and spilled product, water blast clean machines and areas, and lance clean lines and pipes.
• Handle up to 10,000 psi water pressure through handheld cleaning equipment.
• Provide sanitation and cleaning assistance as needed for shoveling, snow removal, pesticide application, and general area clean up.
• Assist in formulating standards/work procedures and provide work order feedback.
• Operate skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, and hand/power tools.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and customer.
• Maintain adherence to the published work schedule and be available for overtime.
• Work from elevated areas and in confined spaces, utilizing necessary PPE.
• Evaluate site for safety hazards and communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain a consistent and good attendance record.
• Perform other work as defined by company and/or customer.
• Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals.
• Communicate with team members to assist in planning.
• Meet physical requirements of the job.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Complete accurate and timely administrative duties.
