About The Position
The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the wastewater treatment facility and its processes. This role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, performing technical operations, and conducting heavy manual labor while operating light machinery. The operator works under the supervision of the Wastewater Chief Operator and is expected to perform duties with considerable independence.
