About The Position
The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee position is an entry-level role designed for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Under the supervision of a licensed operator, the trainee will learn to control the flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge, and effluent while adhering to safety protocols and state regulations.
