About The Position

The Wastewater Treatment Operator position at Ishpeming Area Wastewater Facility involves overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and laboratory functions of a 2.5 MGD design Oxidation Ditch Extended Air facility. The role is essential for ensuring the effective treatment of wastewater and requires a combination of technical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess a class 'D' wastewater certification or higher, or the ability to obtain within 2 years of hire.
• Possess a CDL or ability to obtain a CDL within 2 years of hire.
