The Weiler Engineering Corporation (WEC), an Apex Company, focuses on innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions in Southwest Florida and the Florida Keys. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of water, wastewater, or structural engineering projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, regulatory requirements, budgets, and timelines while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
  • Florida PE license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing water, wastewater, or structural engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred, MS Office).
  • Willingness to travel to Marathon office and client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage engineering projects from initial scoping through final delivery, ensuring adherence to client requirements, quality standards, and regulations.
  • Oversee project design activities, reviewing plans, calculations, and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and addressing risks, changes, and delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and agencies, providing regular project status updates.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Oversee construction engineering inspection (CEI) activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Support junior staff development by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
