The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Wastewater Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Process engineering with primary responsibility of wastewater treatment operations. Must be available for troubleshooting calls from Operations outside typical working hours. Using operations data, optimize treatment effectiveness to achieve internal goals and discharge permit requirements. Conduct process modeling, data analysis, and technical evaluations to improve treatment and cost efficiency. Develop and maintain standard work and process control procedures for wastewater treatment operations. Lead investigation teams as needed to conduct root cause investigations. Support in-house wastewater laboratory and data quality. Provide engineering support to Operations including troubleshooting treatment issues and recommending corrective actions. Support equipment upgrades and capital projects related to wastewater treatment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental or civil Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of engineering in a manufacturing setting or with water treatment processes in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous wastewater engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerBI, etc).
  • Experience with spreadsheet and/or database application programs (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, etc).
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into actionable updates for management.
