About The Position

Position at JBS USA Job T itle : Wastewater DAF and Centrifuge Operator Location : Omaha Reporting To : Rendering Superintendent Essential Job Functions : Operate the wastewater Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system and skimmers Perform equipment shutdowns and clean ‑ in ‑ place (CIP) procedures for Centrisys , melt tank, and other related equipment Grease Centrisys , paunch press, and bearings according to the established schedule Clean DAF areas, including dry pickup, foam removal, and rinsing Restart the system and operate until first shift arrives Coordinate with first shift, complete required paperwork, and submit documentation Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and skid loaders Perform lockout/ tagout procedures on equipment as required Perform other duties as assigned by upper management JBS is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

• Prior wastewater experience preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required
• E stablish and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively
• Ability to work in conditions of extreme heat and in wet, steamy environments
• U nderstand and operate touchscreen ‑ controlled equipment
• F ollow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to w ork with chemicals safely
• Ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
